AOM230 Accreditation and certification

AOM230 is intended for technicians whose job role involves working with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

This unique qualification is designed to ensure that the technician has the ability to calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

It demonstrates the technician’s ability to identify and correctly interpret information relating to a specific vehicle and its ADAS features to determine which method of calibration is required.

You wouldn’t allow an untrained mechanic to work on your car, so it is imperative that for such an important safety feature such as ADAS, that you only allow fully trained and certified technicians to carry out the work.

Insist on seeing an IMI card with a technician name and photo as proof that the person that you are allowing to work on such an important safety feature, is qualified to do so.
