ADAS Camera Calibration

Following a windscreen replacement, or changes in geometry, such as chassis or suspension alterations, the camera that is mounted, hidden behind the cowling near your interior mirror needs re calibrating.

There may not be a fault, and there may not be a light on the dashboard, but this complex camera, for Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, or brake assist, is now not in the same place that is was when it left the factory, so will not be working at its optimum functionability, and as it is such a important safety feature , needs checking, by way of a calibration.

Some cars require a static calibration in a workshop and some require a dynamic calibration, by putting the module into calibration mode and taking for a drive . Either way, we carry out this procedure with precision following manufacturers procedures and using approved hardware and software.

After the calibration we are able to confirm the correct placing and calibration of the camera and produce a report showing any faults stored in the cars ECU as well as a calibration certificate for your records. We also keep a copy for ourselves in the event that you loose your copy.
